Take a few minutes to just STOP and allow yourself to feel all the sensations and emotions in your body.
Even while reading this you can be feeling into your body, noticing where it feels tense, and also where it feels relaxed.
Now when you have read this close your eyes for a few moments and allow yourself to welcome all the sensations and emotions. Welcome any tension, tiredness or pain in your body. Allow these sensations to be fully present without resisting them ( as best you can ).
Take another ' look ' now, you will probably notice a shift a softening in those places of dis-ease, and increase in your sense of relaxation.
Go on do it again, close your eyes for a few more moments and allow your body to be 'heard'. Listen as you would to a child who is upset , listen wholeheartedly in order to sooth your body with your love . Hold the pains and tension lovingly so they can feel your love and acceptance. Then just like children who have been lovingly attended to, these places of dis-ease will begin to calm down , to unwind and relax.
If you repeat this for a few minutes through out your day I promise you will be amazed at how your body responds to this loving attention.
Now you can also use this Special Release Process ( with Hale Dwoskin) it was originally designed to be used 'on people' but I find it equally useful on thoughts , concepts and emotions. It takes about 20 minutes.
