It is great to have a good practice. It supports you through good times and bad.
It teaches patience and perseverance. For me Tai Chi is a true support, when I began to train I hoped to get fit while learning to meditate. I remember one of my teachers advertising posters said " Health Strength and Relaxation ". Tai Chi bestows all of these benefits and much more. Training daily you come to know both your body and your mind and slowly you begin to realise that you are not your body or your mind but something which is beyond both. This realisation is the fruit of practice and also its true purpose.
