Reflecting On Contrast

I loved the littlle Art Galery in Phoenix Airport especially this poem by Joe Beeler.

The paintings and the Cowboy poems and life stories were fascinating to me. There was even one story about  the sharp shooter  Annie Oakley ( heroine of my childhood ). Joe Beeler's poem brought the contrast in our ' worlds' home to me. His longing for rain clouds reminded me of our longing for gaps in the rain clouds. Our longing for sunshine.

On the road to Phoenix blue skies and cacti.

Vast open space and 'white ' grass.

Home to green green grass and plenty of rain and rain clouds .
