I have read thet Lester was on a journey across the US and that Sedona just inspired him so much he decided to stay.

It is easy to understand how this happened.  There is a huge sense of space here, it feels to me like a connection to the eternal similar to the feeling I experience when I am on the West coast at home.There the wide expanse of sky aand sea induces a similar sense of wonder and connection to the awa I feel in this landscape.
