Releasing Workshop April 23

Releasing Our Blocks To Having Harmonious Relationships.

We relate to and with everything in our lives. We have a relationship with our own body, mind and spirit, when these, internal  relationships are sound life tends to flow easily and our family, work and in fact all other relationships become harmonious.  However we hold many conscious and subconscious beliefs that keep us from experiencing this natural flow in life. When these internal relationships are difficult we tend to project these internal difficulties out into the world and our external relationships become difficult too.
In my experience releasing on any relationship tends to improve the quality of all our relationships.
Releasing on our family relationships allows us to experience new and deeper levels of connection with those impotent people in our lives. When these relationships improve our everyday experience grows more enjoyable and fun.
Similarly we can release on our work relationships and achieve more harmony there too.
There is no end to the possibilities for releasing.
As one of my releasing friends said in a text to me earlier today ,   " RELEASING ROCKS  "

If you would like to Release your limiting beliefs and have more Flow in your life come and join us on April 23 it promises to be a day of Fun and you will go home lighter and more open in body, mind and spirit.

Carl Jung had a heart attack and a near death experience in
a hospital in /Switzerland in 1944.
His amazingly accurate view of Earth from outer space was described about two decades before the first astronauts in space described it.
Read his fascinating account in the link on my Facebook post today.

Wanting Approval

Wanting approval is a lacking approval feeling, this feeling often wreaks havoc in our lives both consciously and unconsciously.
Reflect for a moment on your life if you are honest you will notice just how much this feeling has influenced your actions. Learning to recognise and release this lacking feeling is very liberating. It frees us up to be our authentic self and express ourselves more freely.
Learning to find our own internal supply of approval ensures that we do not need to be driven by those urges to do things that we later regret. For example, before I leaned to release those wanting approval feelings I would often find myself filling myself with chocolate, gobbling it down quickly and then feeling frustrated and even more disapproving once the 'binge' was over. As I became more conscious I began to realise that as I was eating the chocolate in an attempt to push down or avoid some uncomfortable feeling. On deeper reflection I discovered that the feeling was often one of vulnerability and lack of approval. On recognising this I began to allow myself to 'Let Go ' of those uncomfortable feelings ( I would keep doing this until I felt lighter inside). Then I would give myself approval, I would remind myself that we don't need to do or be anything special to deserve approval, that everyone and everything deserves approval. Then I would give myself a good 'dose ' of approval. Now I have been releasing for a few years I find it much easier to 'catch' those feelings as they arise and let them go before I end up binging.
Do you 'binge' on anything ? It may not be food, it could be alcohol, television, exercise, shopping. Any of these activities can be used to avoid uncomfortable feelings. When we learn to recognise those uncomfortable feelings and let them go we can be free to be present and relaxed here and now. We can learn to welcome all feelings up into awareness and fully experience this life.
There is hardly a day that goes by without my feeling gratitude to Lester Levenson developing this method of Releasing.

Ps  for my T'ai Chi class on Monday our video would not upload on vimeo but you can watch it here on Facebook if you scroll back to Monday's post. Tai Chi Chuan Cork

March Sunshine

I knew it was going to be an amazing day,

Kinmare was under  pristine blue skies,

As I headed further West,

I couldn't resist a trip to the beach,  short video here on Facebook

We have been so starved of the Sun these last months,

That even it;s reflection warms my heart.
Another wonderful journey West.

Wanting Control

The feeling of wanting  control is the opposite to the feeling of surrender and causes a huge amount of unnecessary stress in our lives.
Take a moment to think of all the things you would like to 'fix' or change in your world. Think of the people whose lives you could sort out ( if only they would listen to your advice). Stress, Stress, and more Stress !!!
Now take a moment to Let Go and trust that people are on their own journey, that they have their own guidance system and allow yourself to relax and let go of 'fixing'.
Reflect on how life has brought you the everything you needed at just the right time.
Relax and know that LIFE is looking after you.
It is really interesting to take the time to reflect on how life looks after us, each time I give myself this reflection my awe and respect for life's wisdom grows.
Each time I Let Go and trust life I regain control and this is the paradoxical nature of things.
In  letting go of wanting to control I gain control over my state of mind and feel myself more in tune with life.
I am very aware of how Letting Go of wanting to control my life has freed me up in ways that I couldn't have imagined. I remember trying to 'make things happen' efforting to grow my T'ai Chi classes etc. All the effort stressed me and never helped in any way. Then I began to Let Go and trust that life knew what was best for me. I asked life to send the best lessons for my growth and began to trust more and more that life knew much better than me. Life in every way is smoother, any time I find myself wanting to control I Let Go ( as best I can ) and just watch as life looks after everything. Inspiration arrives in unexpected ways and life becomes more of an adventure than a contest.
