Back ' Taiching ' In Castletownbere

Sometimes you just feel that you are in exactly the right place, all feels good.

I knew it would be a perfect day.

These Autumn mists were the perfect beginning,

The countryside and mountains,

Spoke to me,

And the blue sky and sea sang to my heart.

I love these journeys West.

The long drive, the views,  tand T'ai Chi all nourish my soul.

A Walk Around The Garden At Áras An Uachtaráin

Beautiful Colours,

Dahlias in all their autumn splendour brought memories of my own mother who loved these flowers. We had them in every shade and as a child I loved when she arranged them in vases to brighten every room in our house.

Purples greens,

And Yellows along the borders delighting,

The miracle,

Of  FLOWERS,

To renew the soul.

Beautiful bell sculpture to resound the wonder.

Messages to decipher,

Wise old trees,

To inspire,

Along the path back to the Áras.

All in all a great day out.

T'ai Chi At Áras An Uachtaráin

Sometimes dreams you didn't even know you had come true and you find yourself tickled pink with life.

Watching our President support and applaud his wife was a joy. Sabina Higgins welcomed us to their home and we felt the warmth of their hospitality.

Kalichi reiterated Sabina's praise for T'ai Chi and her desire to spread the benefits of our practise through out the  country.

We gathered for some photos with Charles Thackaberry ( centre) who taught us all T'ai Chi.

Kalichi led us through some warm up exercises.

Then we all moved out to the garden to practise.

Each group found a spot.

And 'T'ai chied ' for about a half hour.

Sabina took us on a tour of the garden  .................So many more pics to share but it's late and I have had a long day so I'll save the rest for tomorrow. And dream of more T'ai Chi  adventures yet to come.

Driving To T'ai Chi

Autumn morning on my way to T'ai Chi.

The early morning fog heralding a lovely day ahead.

The river Lee was calm and quiet.

Just one ship approaching,

And drawing closer as I drove toward Blackrock Castle just barely visible through the rising fog.
What a lovely drive to my Friday morning T'ai Chi.
