Sedona

The Red Rocks of Sedona,

Radiate their luminosity and spirit over the city.

Which may explain why this place is home to so many artists,

Art hangs from trees,

Sits in courtyards,

And we couldn't resist joining in to celebrate sisterhood, it was the end of a fabulous day driving through Arizona, sharing time and journeying together.

The sunset was as beautiful as ever in this magical spot.

I was up early next morning to enjoy more views of the Red Rocks,

Which were glowing in the morning sunshine,

So much more to show but its been a long journey from Las Vegas and I'll leave it there for now. I wish there was some way to share the true essence of this place. It was my third visit and already I'm planning to stay longer next time. 

Grand Canyon West

 

     My sister Mary helped me stay cool on the road.

And was equally awe struck by the Canyon views.

We lovd every minute of the journey.

It was so worth the detour.

On our way to Sedona.

The sunset was stunning.

The iicing on our cake is spending tonight in a Motel on Route  66 more about that tomorrow.

Choose Love

Choose Love Choose your power to radiate your love just as the flower radiates beauty.

Refuse to let anything pull you away from this LOVE that you are. 

Get to know your triggers and allow them to be your call to freedom . 

Each time we choose love over a trigger we become a master, a master of that moment. 

Each moment we master increases our mastership.

 This is no small achievement.

 It is in fact awesome.

 We are Awesome in our ability to choose .

 To choose LOVE is our most AWESOME ability. 

It is the greatest choice we can make and our greatest gift to this planet.

On The Road West Again

 I love being on this road West

Up over the mountains, 

                                      Light and darkness interchanging,

                            The promise of more mountains to come,

                     And there is a treasure waiting for me,

                              A Quiet space and friends with whom to share my
                                        passion for T'ai Chi.
                              I can think of no better way to spend my Sunday.

Everytime i drive past this 'shed' on my journey to Castletownbere William Carlos Williams' poem The Red Wheelbarow  comes into my mind. So today I decided to stop and take a photo so I could share my experience.

Sunday's Journey West

It was a wild and windy morning, 

The sky was overcast,

 But the further West I got,

The brighter it became, 

 By the time T'ai Chi was finished the sun was shinning brightly.

And it was hard to remember all the morning's rain.
 I think this changeable weather has allowed us Irish to develop an adaptable character. We know that each day can turn in any direction and that it's best to go with the flow and enjoy the sunshine when ever it appears. Best to take the opportunities life offers and not postpone as everything can change so quickly.
