All IS Well

Mona Lisa Schulz, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr Mona Lisa Schulz is one of those rare people who can cross the borders of science, medicine and mysticism. With an MD, a PhD in Brain Science, practicing Neuropsychiatrist, an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at University of Vermont School of Medicine and a medical intuitive for more than 25 years.
She lives between Yarmouth, Maine and Franklin, Tennessee with her four cats and assorted wildlife.
I came across Mona Lisa a few days ago when I found her endorsing Reconnective Healing and something about her just appealed to me so I decided to investigate some more.
I then discovered that she and Louise Hay (whose work I love and  admirer) had written a book together I just had to buy it ( thank God, Google or  Kindle) .
The book  All Is Well brings together Louise’s proven affirmation system with Mona Lisa’s knowledge of both medical science and the body’s intuition to create an easy-to-follow guide for health and well-being. And, for the first time ever, they present scientific evidence showing the undeniable link between the mind and body that makes these healing methods work.
I love the way Mona Lise gives the recent research to confirm that how and what we think has a huge effect on our health. I love that the book takes us through the 7 chakras exploring physical , emotional and spiritual aspects of health.
In my study and work with healing I too have come to realise that healing needs to approached on many levels.  Changing one's diet and following an exercise programme along with medication will certainly help but the emotional and spiritual aspects of one's illness need to be addressed in order to be healed.
Here is a link to a really interesting interview with Mona Lisa.

By the pond.

Or under the bandstand if it rains. I know some ot Tuesday's group have been hoping for rain just to enjoy the 'feel' of taiching under the stand. I bet we will get at least one session in it's shade.

Wet and still wonderful West Cork

I had some Reconnective Healing work in West Cork last Sunday,

And of course I relished the opportunity to take some photos.

The grey skies and rain failed to deminish the charm,

 Beauty,

And abundance of West Cork's flowers.

The Sun did her best to break through.

And even though the mist and rain won out ,

I felt nourished,

And renewed by the natural beauty all around.

Parting Practise in Castletownbere

                            Love is always loving you.
Without this love you cannot breathe,
As without air you cannot live.
Love is Meditation, Meditation is Love.
                            Heart has no frontiers;
                            Meditate on This.
You are this Love, You are That.
Simply be Quiet and stay as such.
                                                                Papaji

What a year it has been in Castletownbere T'ai Chi. We have really explored so much T'ai Chi together. I'm sad to finish for the summer but already looking forward to September when we will all be refreshed and ready to explore even deeper.

                                          “Even
                                           After
                                           All this time
The Sun never says to the Earth,

                                          "You owe me."

                                           Look
                                          What happens
                                          With a love like that,
                                          It lights the whole sky.”

T'ai Chi In Fitzgerald's Park

What a sight when we arrived in the Park yesterday, there must have been a thousand people practising Yoga. It was such a fabulous sight and such an inspiration to our own practise.
Growing up in Cork I couldn't have imagined this sight. I remember buying my first book on Yoga and feeling very exotic as I attempted the postures.

Today, while shopping i my local supermarket  I saw a young boy standing in the tree pose ( just like the one in this photo) and  thought how far we have come since I grew up.

Now people practising T'ai Chi, Yoga, Running, Dancing etc are all common to see.
I remember how people would stop to look at us when we first began 'Taiching' in the Park.
Now people even ask to join in. What a great change, and with this lovely weather I am really looking forward to a fun summer of outdoor T'ai Chi.

We will be in the Park on Tuesday Evenings Beginner's Class starts at 6:45on the Playground side of the Pond.
Looking Forward to seeing You there.
